Munich (Germany), June 6, 2016 – commercetools today announced that Cimpress (Nasdaq: CMPR), the world leader in mass customization, has chosen its e-commerce solution. The solution will play a role as a central hub for many commerce-related functions, initially for some of the company’s Upload and Print portfolio of businesses. commercetools handles client-specific e-commerce demands in real-time, including a shopping cart and order management, dynamic pricing, and information management to enable customer analytics.
The extensive interfaces (APIs) of the commercetools platform will enable seamless integration into the existing Cimpress technology landscape, including its mass customization platform and manufacturing and supply chain technologies. The first go-live is planned for fall 2017, after which Cimpress intends to begin a roll-out across many of its Upload and Print brands.
