Meet the Team
Heading up the French team is Hubert Odendhal, the newly appointed Sales Director for France. He brings over a decade’s worth of expertise in sales strategy and management from some of the world’s leading technology enterprises. Of commercetools’ entrance into France, he says:

Hubert, along with the rest of his French-speaking team members will be responsible for leading on all customer-facing activities, including partnerships and channels, as well as customer success locally to accelerate growth in France.
Team France’s 1st Big Win: Promod
commercetools’ French team has already had a brilliant start: they hit the ground running and secured Promod as their first big client. As a French chain of women’s fashion stores, with more than 1,000 sale points and 5,000 employees in around 50 countries, Promod turned to commercetools to develop their brand-new commerce platform, along with long-established commercetools partner Valtech (yet another benefit, French enterprises will have access to commercetools’ list of partners).
What attracted Promod to commercetools in the first place? The answer: MACH architecture. MACH refers to a set of architectural principles (Microservice-based, API-first, Cloud-native and Headless) that place flexibility, agility and the quest for better operational results at the forefront of technical solutions. These principles help brands build a digital commercial ecosystem that will allow them to achieve their most ambitious goals.
