Munich (Germany)/Amsterdam (Netherlands), May 6, 2020 – Effective May 1, 2020, Joanne Veenvliet started at commercetools as Sales Director Benelux. In her new position, Veenvliet is responsible for all direct and indirect sales in the Benelux and manages the relationship with implementation partners. With special expertise in DXP and CMS, Veenvliet is an enormous asset to the company. As Sales Director she will focus on accelerating commercetools’ rapid growth in the Benelux Union.
Veenvliet comes from Adobe Experience Cloud, where she was a Strategic Account Executive. In this role, Veenvliet built and maintained relationships with Adobe’s strategic Global CPG and Retail accounts. She also gained extensive experience as Commerce Solutions Sales at IBM and SDL (Tridion).
In my role at Adobe, I was able to develop my passion for technology, commerce and retail to the maximum. And at commercetools, I am able to continue that development, reason enough to tackle this new challenge with both hands. I am looking forward to further expanding business in the Benelux region with the team, and to transforming the traditional enterprise commerce market together with customers and partners. This opportunity within commercetools is unique. Many enterprise organizations get stuck within their existing monolithic architecture. It is an amazing challenge to be able to help these organizations transition out of traditional channels with a strong digital footprint.
