We had another pain point in terms of hosting and scaling the solutions. So, the old way of doing things was you bought an application and then you needed to also buy a server and host it and make sure that it could scale to your peak seasons. Many companies just maintained an unnaturally high baseline for performance and scalability in order to be able to handle the peak season, which was maybe just a quarter a year. The promise and the benefit of working with these cloud-native systems and components is that someone is taking care of that for you and you can really just focus on creating the value for your customer.

If we can make changes relatively easy to our customer experience, what does that add to the top line to the revenue of my business? How does that change my conversion rates, my average order values, my return rates? So, there is a much bigger picture here that often is neglected when we start discussing technology solutions — and that becomes incredibly important.
