Our interview process is tailored to each role and typically includes a combination of the following stages: Conversation with a Talent Acquisition Partner, skillset interview, Guiding Stars interview and collaborative interview. If your application moves forward, your Talent Acquisition Partner will walk you through each stage in detail during your initial conversation.
We follow a hybrid-first approach, with employees near our offices working together in person three days per week. While we have remote colleagues around the world, we are focusing on hiring in selected hubs to strengthen collaboration and connection.
English is our primary business language, and fluency in both written and spoken English is required for all roles. Unless stated otherwise in the job description, please submit your application in English.
We offer visa sponsorship for select roles and locations. If applicable, your Talent Acquisition Partner will guide you through the process during the hiring journey.
Most of our roles are full-time, though part-time opportunities are occasionally available and will be clearly stated in the job description. Currently, we don’t hire freelancers.
We aim to respond within one week of your application. However, due to high application volumes, this may take longer at times. Regardless of the outcome, you’ll receive a response.
There is no formal dress code. We encourage you to wear what makes you feel comfortable and confident. For sales or customer-facing roles, we recommend dressing as you would for a customer meeting.
Yes, for most technical roles, an assessment is part of the process. Your Talent Acquisition Partner will share all relevant details, as requirements vary by role.
We offer a structured onboarding experience that combines virtual sessions led by our leadership team with quarterly in-person events held in our Munich or Berlin offices. These sessions give you insight into our history, strategy and future — and a chance to connect with fellow new commercetoolers.
Travel and accommodation for in-person onboarding (where applicable) are covered by the company.
