They create open forums for employees to meet, share, and support each other in addressing concerns and fostering a respectful, caring community. Check out our current ERGs below!

I took on a leadership role with our Sustainability ERG, Planet Earth Alliance, because I'm passionate about climate action and inspiring others to care, too. I want to help build a healthier future for the next generation.

I had always wanted to be more involved and meet more colleagues, and also work on making an impact within the company, and becoming an ERG leader was a great way to do all of those things. It has been incredibly rewarding! I've made some amazing connections and hosted some events that turned out better than I could have imagined. It's a great feeling when you help create an environment that brings positivity and enjoyment to others.

I chose to lead the Women at commercetools ERG because I'm passionate about creating a more inclusive and empowering workplace. We spend so much of our time at work, and I believe that fostering community, driving meaningful change, and supporting one another can have a lasting impact, not just on our culture, but on our personal and professional growth as well.

I never expected how much I would grow as a person. Being a part of the OpenMinds ERG has exposed me to so many amazing people and varying perspectives. By listening, I've connected to others and learned from them. By sharing, I've been vulnerable and allowed others to see me. Life can be messy, people can be messy. I'm messy. But when you look at it all through a lens of trying to understand, it's an amazing growth opportunity.

I chose to lead an ERG because I am passionate about building genuinely supportive and inclusive environments. Through my experience as a parent of children in the LGBTQIA+ community, I've come to understand that fostering this kind of atmosphere isn't about having a complete grasp of every pronoun or identity. Instead, it's about ensuring individuals feel truly seen and valued in every interaction. I want to drive change that makes commercetools a company where everyone feels empowered to be their authentic self, knowing they have the full support of their coworkers and leaders.

I decided to lead the Parents ERG because I've personally experienced the challenges of managing work and family life while living in a country away from my parents and extended family. Navigating parenthood without a support system nearby was incredibly tough, and it made me realize how important community and shared understanding can be. I wanted to create that sense of support for others—to build a space where parents can connect, share resources, and feel empowered. It's something I wish I had early on, and I'm proud to now help provide it for others.
