Spaces we love
Rijksmuseum: Filled with artifacts chronicling Dutch history along with works by Rembrandt and Van Gogh.
Jordaan: A charming walkable neighborhood filled with boutiques, pubs, eateries and the eclectic merchandise stalls of the Noordermarkt.
De Poezenboot or “The “Cat Boat”: Yes, it’s the world’s only floating animal sanctuary — and it’s exactly as great as it sounds!
Things we love to do
Cycle: Welcome to one of the most bicycle-friendly cities in the world. Our small city is easy to navigate on a bike. Driving a car is discouraged and parking is expensive!
Camp: There are nearby campsites in the woods and on the water. You can rent a cabin or trailer if you’d rather relax than rough it!
Game: Well, we are techies after all — plus our city boasts the world’s first video game hotel: The Arcade.
Places we love to go
On sunny days, our team is partial to a good rooftop terrace. Our favorites include:
Gapp at Hotel Casa: A lively rooftop beer garden with an amazing view of the city.
Zoku: Yummy cocktails served in a lush greenhouse and garden perched atop a trendy loft apartment building.
Canvas: Panoramic views over the Amstel River and the city center make it a perfect spot for drinks and watching the sunset.

Places we love to go
Kölner Dom is - of course - a must-see in Cologne. Don't forget to take a look at the famous window designed by Gerhard Richter or climb up the stairs of one of the towers and enjoy the view from above.
Feel like tasting local food and beer? Then you should try one of many Brauhäuser you can find all over the city and dive into this Colognian Culture.
The Museum Ludwig is a great place to enjoy a great selection of modern art. If your kids have a curious mind, take them to the interactive Science Museum Odysseum, they will love it.
