On June 24th, commercetools celebrated Pride season with a bang at the Munich Pride Parade (Christopher Street Day), spreading the message of inclusivity and self-expression.
At commercetools, we believe in creating an inclusive and diverse work environment that celebrates the uniqueness of every individual. Pride Month holds a special place in our hearts as we stand alongside the LGBTQ+ community and strive to foster a culture of acceptance, equality and respect. This year, we enthusiastically joined the festivities and proudly participated in the Munich Pride Parade, also known as Christopher Street Day.
On June 24th, our team, comprising 60 passionate commercetoolers and guests, came together to celebrate Pride and demonstrate our unwavering support for the LGBTQ+ community. The energy was infectious as we hosted our "be your beautiful self" party, embracing the vibrant spirit of Pride and spreading a message of inclusivity and self-expression.
By actively participating in the parade, we wanted to send a powerful message to the world: At commercetools, there is no place for hate, discrimination or inequality. We believe everyone should be able to live authentically, without fear of prejudice or discrimination. By standing up for LGBTQ+ rights and visibility, we hope to create a more inclusive society where everyone is free to be their true selves.
