We’re a little over three months out from Elevate — The Global Commerce Summit™ 2025, commercetools’ second annual conference dedicated to the technologies, tools and trends driving the future of commerce. We’ve secured the keynote speakers, confirmed a host of experts for the breakout sessions and are busy building the agenda. We’re excited to once again see our customers, prospects and partners join commercetools leadership at the Miami Beach Convention Center for three days of connecting, collaborating and celebrating. It’s an incredible experience for commerce leaders, but it’s also a lot to take in quickly — so we reached out to the C-suite to ask for tips on how to get the most out of Elevate.

Insider’s guide to Elevate — The Global Commerce Summit™: 7 tips from the C-suite
Dirk Hörig, Co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer, commercetools

Dirk Hörig, Co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer: Introduce yourself to commercetools leaders

Our C-suite executives will be on-site throughout the event and truly want to meet as many attendees as possible. You’ll see some of them (Andrew Burton, Chief Executive Officer, Shiri Mosenzon, Chief Product Officer and myself) on the main stage presenting our vision for the future, sharing our product roadmap and introducing our keynote speakers. Others, including Hajo Eichler, Chief Technology Officer and Eric Speciel, Chief Customer Officer, will host smaller breakout sessions. You can also find us at the after-hours celebrations. Don’t hesitate to walk up, say hello and shake hands.

“Customers and prospects can request a 1:1 meeting on-site if they have specific questions, unique challenges or concerns. Connecting directly with our leaders is the best way to get more out of our commerce platform. Think of Elevate as your chance to let us show you how our capabilities can drive value for your business.”

Hajo Eichler

Hajo Eichler, Chief Technology Officer: Arrive with questions

The company's commitment to delivering constant innovation, faster time to market and improved customer experiences means we’re always deploying new commerce capabilities and features. Last year, we launched commercetools Compilations, as a semi-annual showcase designed to keep our customers up-to-date so they can fully leverage our products to their advantage. We recommend reviewing the web page, checking out Dirk’s overview video or watching our on-demand webinar to learn what’s new so you can arrive at Elevate prepared to dive deeper into our latest  innovations.

Consider reaching out to other team leaders to collect ideas, questions and concerns that you can bring with you to the event. Our top engineering and product experts will be on-site, ready to connect with you and share their knowledge. They will lead multiple presentations in the Innovation Zone (review the agenda for specific topics) that include time for Q&As at the end. Of course, you can also request a 1:1 if you prefer.

“Elevate provides a unique opportunity to ask the builders of commercetools Platform anything in person. The intimate environment and razor-sharp focus on our capabilities make it easy for attendees to break the ice and start a conversation.”

Dan Murphy

Dan Murphy, Chief Financial Officer: Don’t be shy, everyone shares a common vision

Attendees of the first Elevate conference shared feedback that connecting with other commercetools customers was a valuable, unexpected benefit. The experience is more than just attending keynotes and sessions to listen and learn from the experiences of other customers — attendees have the time to network and are incentivized to share contact information using Klik technology embedded in the conference badges.

“Download the app so you can use Klik to connect, introduce yourself to relevant speakers before or after breakout sessions and with people outside your circle at the after-hours events. You can even ask your sales representative or CSM for help setting up introductions with relevant customers. Elevate attendees want to connect, which makes it easy to engage others. You’d be amazed at how many customers connected while waiting in line for coffee last year!”

Bruno Teuber

Bruno Teuber, Chief Revenue Officer: Take notes

One of the main goals of Elevate is to inspire you to achieve your business goals — and give you tools that can support you on your journey. There’s a lot of information to take in over the course of the three days so taking notes in sessions can be incredibly helpful. You can take the old-fashioned pen-and-pad approach, use your phone to record and let AI summarize later, or create a voice memo of key points immediately afterward — it doesn’t matter, the idea is to keep the learnings fresh in your mind.

“Business leaders usually leave conferences armed with big ideas to take back to their teams. However, often other things take precedence. Having tangible insights, strategies and best practices ready to share puts you in a better position to initiate next steps and keep moving forward.”

Shiri Mosenzon

Shiri Mosenzon, Chief Product Officer: Focus on actionable takeaways

Elevate is a chance to learn, but more importantly, to turn insights into impact. Instead of just absorbing information, think about how each session applies to your business and what concrete actions you can take. Identify two or three key themes that matter most to your strategy, and set follow-ups with your team or partners before you even leave the event.

“The best conferences don’t just inspire — they create momentum. Approach Elevate with a mindset of execution, and you’ll leave with more than ideas — you’ll leave with a plan.”

Jen Jones

Jen Jones, Chief Marketing Officer: Bring your team

The agenda is intentionally designed to offer content that supports the needs and goals of both business and tech leaders. Bringing a small team means you can divide and conquer. With four breakout tracks — Unified Commerce, Customer Experience, Business Growth and Best Practices — running sessions simultaneously, this can make a critical difference in the learnings you take home with you and in your ability to execute quickly to move your digital transformation journey forward.

“One thing we heard from attendees last year is they wish they could have attended every session. Bring your teammates and compare notes...plus, it's more fun with your team!"

Eric Speciel

Eric Speciel, Chief Customer Officer: Embrace every opportunity

Elevate is a perfect time to get input on your commerce strategy: Here’s how to make it count.

Whether you are navigating a replatforming decision, optimizing your commerce capabilities or seeking insights into the latest digital innovations, this is your chance to get input and feedback from the brightest minds in the business.

“With commercetools leadership, product experts, customer experts and partners all in one place, Elevate is the best place for you to get answers that accelerate decision-making. Take advantage of everything it offers. Attend the keynotes, join breakout sessions that align with your needs and goals, engage with vendors in the Expo, experience the Innovation Talks and book a 1:1 with a commercetools executive — the right conversation can accelerate your roadmap by months.”
