Klarna’s payment solutions will now be available to all merchants using commercetools via an API integration, built by the enterprise systems integrator and headless experts E2X. This will make Klarna easy to deploy and customise at scale for enterprise merchants.

With commercetools and Klarna, customers will be able to integrate Klarna through a Java application plugin which implements commercetools API extension endpoints for payment and order events. Upon receipt of these events, it will make calls to the Klarna API to create and update orders there. Not only is the integration quick and easy to manage, but it will allow retailers to curate bespoke purchasing experiences that are intuitive to their unique customer behaviours.
